At Lengua Común, we offer specialized services aligned with the culture, linguistic needs, and lived experience of Latinx communities in two main areas:

  • Support and training for organizations and businesses within the Latin American community who often struggle to access specialized services in their language and/or who are familiar with their context.
  • Guidance, connection, and services designed for organizations seeking to improve their linguistic and cultural reach and resonance with Latin American or migrant communities.

Our services:

Language Services

We offer interpretation and translation services (ENG<>Esp), as well as consulting on how to incorporate Language Justice into the strategic planning, programming, and operations of public institutions and non-profit organizations.

Strategic Planning and Capacity Building

We offer consulting services to diagnose obstacles and areas of opportunity for organizations involved with the Latino community, as well as assistance with program implementation and the training necessary to address them effectively and efficiently.

Event production

We provide production services for artistic and intercultural exchanges, educational, recreational, and activism events with artists, leaders, and migrant, transit, and local communities, from small-scale events to festivals.

Research & Action Projects

We offer the Latino community and interested organizations the opportunity to apply qualitative and quantitative social science methodologies to specific problems, with an emphasis on the active participation of stakeholders and a focus on effective and well-informed collective decision-making.

Operations

We assist small organizations in managing specific, pre-defined programs and projects. In particular, we help them address their accounting, payroll, and training needs, which are often problematic within the community due to language and cultural barriers.

Brand identity

We assist in the creation of an engaging and informed visual and communicative identity for specific organizations, brands, initiatives, or events, maximizing their aesthetic and symbolic impact and, therefore, achieving harmony and effectiveness within the Latino community.
